multi-level Bible training

South Coast Bible School (SCBS) aims to become a leading provider of part-time theological education in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Our multi-level training structure allows learners to access affordable, evangelical Bible teaching on three levels:

• primary  (TEE)
• secondary (SCBS)
• tertiary (SATS)

The primary level is our newest venture, and describes adventures in Theological Education by Extension (TEE), a tried-and-tested method of ‘extending’ the reach of a Bible School into outlying areas not normally serviced by the school.

SCBS is our once-a-quarter training week, hosted here at Silver Oaks for a three-year cycle. Learners are encouraged to live-in, studying ‘in community’ with all lectures translated into either isiZulu or isiXhosa.

We are also partners with the South African Theological Seminary (SATS), an excellent distance-education institution offering accredited graduate programmes in theology. This partnership constitutes our tertiary
